in January 2017, I began a 100 Days Project intending to learn about watercolors thru experimentation and play. 100 days later, in April 2017, I exhibited the entire 100 piece collection in a show called “Water Play” at the Super Awesome Art Squad gallery in Aupuni Place - a temporary art space in the former Na Mea Hawai‘i during Ward Warehouse’s last days. In tandem with my show, Emily Lee's giant clay "Pods of Presence" took shape in the gallery over the course of two weeks.
